If you need inspiration, I'm listing out a bunch of ships that I already like for my Little Black Dress requests here! All lists are in alphabetical order by the first letter of the name as written or randomly tossed in at the end as I thought of them if not a name.

I almost certainly forgot someone, so don't treat this as an exhaustive list! If you want more specific prompts for any specific pairing, I'd be happy to give some!

I wasn't sure the best way to prompt for a mystery ship so I mostly talked about what I liked about each of the characters, but there should be a lot of shippy/plotty things that would work as prompts in my likes! For the art requests, I tried to think of a bunch of "doable in a single image" art prompts that can be found in those requests, but please treat those as inspiration rather than the only things I want!

I tend to go full steam into rarepairs and multishipping given the slightest option, so this exchange is really just enabling me. I love minor characters, I love new ways of pairing up major characters and the different dynamics that would result. I have some major pairings for each of these that I will never ever be tired of getting anything for but I also love new pairings and am very easy to persuade into a pairing!

Some notes on crossovers: I'm opting in to some form of crossover for all of my fic requests, usually with it open to any sci-fi or fantasy fandom. Some of those could have fairly silly premises, but please keep in mind that I'm not requesting crackfic or for those premises to be written as a joke! I also realize that by opting into so broadly it makes it really difficult to narrow down exactly which characters/character types I ship or don't ship, so I decided not to worry about that for crossovers. I'm just going to trust that if I get one the pairing will be something my writer thinks I'll like! There are still a few broad DNWs that apply (both in the crossover dnw section and the general dnw section) but otherwise please feel free to have fun with it! <3

Original Luo Binghe - M/M

I know that AUs/divergences can blur the lines on which LBH it is, so assume that the starting personality in the fic is the most important thing and there should be a point in his adult life where he's very clearly on that same trajectory and has the personality that PIDW-LBH had post abyss. If his background is different and/or if the new pairing divertes him from his PIDW plotline while keeping his PIDW personality then that's fine though!

I find the whole messy look at how a single character could turn out so differently with minor (or major) changes to one part of their life such an interesting thing. Original Luo Binghe is set up to be such a weirdly tragic protagonist, because he ends up shedding all the kind parts of his personality and ends up getting everything he ever wanted...and not being happy with it. So, maybe he needs someone to come in and shake things up so that he *does* end up happy even if it doesn't look like what thought he wanted. Or maybe he'll keep trying in a totally new way, possibly in a new world, and still be a disaster!

(I also really think he needs friends, this is a ship exchange so obviously that isn't required but if you end up with something and are worried it's too much gen, trust me it's not!)

To be clear, this request is not for the PIDW LBH who we call "Original Luo Binghe"! This is for the original outline LBH! There is a single line in Airplane's extra where he says "in fact in his original outline Bing-ge didn’t have a romance plot, he was doomed to fade away, alone and unaging forever" (https://greenlilytranslations.wordpress.com/scum-villains-self-saving-system/airplane-5/) and I'm a little obsessed with it! (For the Original LBH with the harem from PIDW who shows up in the extra, please see my other request!)

I find the whole messy look at how a single character could turn out so differently with minor (or major) changes to one part of their life such an interesting thing. In this case we don't know much other than where Luo Binghe ends up, there might not even be the same cast of characters and who knows exactly what the setting is like! Whether you end up going with slight changes from PIDW that resulted in the protagonist having a different "ending" or major twists between now and what Airplane wrote, I'll definitely fine it super fun!

I would adore it if LBH has some time (like a century at least?) to settle into that "alone and unaging forever" aura, since that's the super iddy part of this version for me, but if you have an idea that needs to take off earlier that wouldn't remove that vibe then go for it!

Dragon Age

Ameridan - Fic - M/M

If you don't remember who this is, this is the first Inquisitor. The one who got frozen in ice for hundreds of years to neutralize a Hakkon. He gets like three lines. We were *robbed*. He's very much a woobie out of his time, with some added soldier-who-died-for-this (even if he ends up not dying).

It could be really interesting seeing stuff in the Divine Age whether with his version of the Inquisition or with the emperor or people from the Dales or other people he knows and/or works with. With an elf openly as the Inquisitor and the Dales at the height of power the whole dynamic had to be different for him than it is in the Dragon Age. Maybe even a straight up divergence that changes how he deals with Hakkon so that he doesn't get frozen in time.

It could also be really fun to see how he would adjust to the Inquisition in the Dragon Age (and all the other stuff that has changed so horribly since the Divine Age!), and how *they* would adjust to *him*!

Delrin Barris - Fic - M/M

The cute, level headed Templar in Inquisition. If you've ever played the Templar recruit mission you know who he is, otherwise he's the attempted voice of reason who briefly appears to help diffuse things in Val Royaux before everything goes down. I love how he's genuinely trying to do the right thing even when everyone around him is telling him that the right thing is something else. He sticks with them way longer than he probably should have but once everything about the red lyrium comes out he swaps sides quickly, even if he's trying to keep what remains of the Templars alive through the wreckage.

It could be really neat seeing how he adjusts (whether the Templars are still a thing or disbanded), making a place for himself in the Inquisition and learning to work with mages and all the other parts of the Inquisition on a more even level. He's had a mission where he presumably worked with Dalish and Tal-Vashoth before, but probably not anything on this level.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Male Jedi Consular - M/M

Consular is by far my favorite class, mostly because that whole act one "Healer sacrificing their life force to save people" plotline is pure id for me. I love the whole setup of the nerdy prodigy who's expecting to be learning healing and history and archeology getting thrown into strife and then quickly becoming one of the highest ranked people in the order, and all the stress that could come with that. It really feels like an arc, where at first the consular is completely in over his head and promoted super early, and then the middle bounces around a little as he learns diplomacy and figures out what his role is before veering back into a personal storyline with a galactic impact, and then in a contrast to those earlier themes once KOTFE hits the Consular is one of the few player characters who does have diplomatic experience and experience being in a leadership position over a large group of people and is actually the experienced leader.

There's a ton of really great other characters that could lead to so many different dynamics with the Consular at different points in the plot (whether as a padawan before he even gets into all of this or all the way into the alliance days), or in any number of AUs. I don't need the Consular to be the Outlander or even "The" Consular as long as it's clearly the same character. I tend to go heavy into the healer type of consular but a shadow type who needs to rapidly pick up the mental shields and all that even though it isn't the track he was expecting to take could be really fun too!

I love how idealistic he is and how he so sincerely wants to help and to make things better, even if he kind of rushes it sometimes and maybe makes a mess of things because he was impatient.

My whole dynamics for this are just like, waving my hands at Liam going "look, he could make it work!!" which is hard to put to paper properly. He could either charm or intrigue or annoy the shit out of *so many characters* just by being himself and trying to do his thing and I love every option with that. If he got a chance to help with something he would jump right into that. He's so interested in different cultural things, and actually has pretty good success at making contacts with the Angara beyond what the Nexus can do! He's just a fun little bit of cheerful and well intentioned chaos to throw at any of the characters, and his moments of sincerity would just make it even better.

• "Requested character" in all cases refers to the character/pairing from my requests that you choose to focus on in the fic. I'm not expecting those DNWs to apply to every character I requested, just the one you're writing and tagging the fic for.
• SVSSS Specific Clarification: While almost all of the things that SJ was accused of (everything to do with LQG or NYY, the reason he killed the Qiu's, the reason he killed his old master, ect) turned out to be false, I think it's important that way he treated Luo Binghe is the one accusation that is true. Since we know from the book that SJ definitely expected Binghe to die from the wrong manual, knew he was sleeping in the woodshed, and knew about the bullying, if that treatment comes up I'd rather the canon situation not be characterized as one of the things he was falsely accused of. It doesn't need to be brought up at all if it isn't relevant, and I don't expect any sort of lesson or regret about it! I just don't want fic where it's said or implied that canon PIDW SJ didn't do those things or that it wasn't his choice/fault or that he had a "good" motivation behind those actions. For Original Outline SQQ I'm fine with a neglectful take rather than an actively abusive take as long as he isn't a good Shizun to LBH. I'm also for both versions fine with AUs that totally avert the situation via outside interference, even if that interference changes SJ's actions, as long as the requested LBHs end up with their requested personalities.
• Planned public declarations of love that only one half of the pairing knows about ahead of time: I mean things like public marriage proposals/announcements, public confession speeches, announcing the relationship, ect. If the characters have already talked about that sort of thing and the in-the-dark-character is going to react like "Oh hey that thing we talked about is happening now, with no unpleasant surprises that will make me uncomfortable", then don't worry about it! I just don't want them caught off guard or embarrassed by something they had no idea was coming. (It's a big second-hand embarrassment thing for me.)
• Suspicion of Cheating: I mean things like "Are they dating someone else/want to date someone else/slept with someone else/am I a side piece" ect, but not things like "Are they flirting with that waitress". Momentary "Wait wait--oh no that's not it at all" type suspicions are also fine in general, as long as there is no stretch of time where cheating is suspected (for either the reader or the characters)
• V-type poly: What I mean by this is poly where two of the characters are into a third but not each other. I need some sort of romantic relationship for all three legs of a poly relationship, even if it's antagonistic or low key.
• Breakups involving characters in the pairing within the fic: I basically don't want breakup fic, whether that's between both of the characters in the pairing or if it's one character in the pairing breaking up with a prior relationship. It's fine if a canon relationship breaks up *before* the fic and that's mentioned, but I don't want a gift that involves that arc.
• Non-canon permanent major character death: I don't want something where someone who didn't permanently die in canon does so, but I'm fine with characters dying in different ways than how they died in canon as long as the fic is clearly tagged so that I know what I'm getting into. I care a lot less about this for antagonist characters. Kill Corypheus however you want and I won't blink, but please give me clear warning for an alternate Su Xiyan death. There's also probably antagonists who didn't die in canon that I'm fine dying in a fic, but defining exactly where the antagonist line lies is hard so probably double check on those. Exception: If they die and come back in a way that they usually have a form indistinguishable from a normal alive person, such as TGCF style powerful ghosts or vampires.
• Permanent requested character death (even if canon): I don't want any of the requested characters to be dead at the end of the fic. I don't want a pre-death fic that very blatantly references or leads into the start of the plotline of the eventual canon character death.
• Related things to the character death DNWs that are totally okay!: Temporary death. Character mistakenly thinking someone is dead or grieving for a temporarily dead character. Fic where the canonically dead character is dead for most of the fic as long as they're alive by the end of the fic. Dead character comes back as a corporeal ghost ala TGCF or a similar "Basically alive with fancy powers" sort of undead. Pre-death fic that doesn't very blatantly reference or lead into the canonical character death plotline. Pre-death fic that leads into/directly references canonical death plot but clearly sets up a divergence even if the characters don't realize the significance at the time. Time Travel/Time Loop/Peggy Sue fixit where the canonically dead character definitely died in the last timeline but they're averting it this time. Canon divergence dealing directly with the canon death plotline. Not mentioning the temporarily dead character during a canon divergence, as long as it isn't implied the divergence will keep them dead. Character attempting to permanently self sacrifice and being stopped. Character successfully self sacrificing thinking it will be permanent and it's temporary. Character self sacrificing with the intention of it being temporary while knowing it could be permanent (but it's temporary).
