Worldbuilding

  • Music as magic. Especially for someone who views it as a tool to pull out when necessary rather than their main passion.
  • Plant magic and gardening!
  • Really just any extra specific elemental magic
  • Science and nerdy stuff!
  • Magical artifacts
  • Little worldbuilding details from canon.
  • Ridiculous details from ridiculous canons.
  • Cultural differences in fantasy worlds between fantasy cultures.

Control

Worldbuilding

  • I just love the whole vibe of this game. I love all the details we get, especially about the history of the Oldest House, and simultaneously really want more because of what we get!
  • I'd love either narrative fic or alternate formats (especially canon typical documents!) Please feel free to either include OCs or established characters, whichever works better for your ideas!
  • My prompts are focused on the Oldest House and the Federal Bureau of Control because that's what I have ideas for, but if you had in mind something more character specific or to do with some of the other places/objects/powers/events in or referenced to in the game, please go for it!
  • Prompts:
  • More about any of the events/objects in the game, especially fleshing out things that we got partial information about or documents about but didn't really fully see!
  • Day to day in the FBC before the lockdown, anything from the really mundane stuff (and how being in a place like the Oldest House affects that) to the really non-mundane rituals.
  • How things went down right after they found the Oldest House, especially as the FBC decided to move in!
  • The FBC mission that discovered the Oldest House.
  • The FBC as it functioned before the Oldest House, either/both day to day functions and how they contained (or attempted to contain) things!
  • Agents discovering new places in the Oldest House (either new places not seen in the game, or the initial discovery of places in the game), and how the FBC reacted to them or put those places to use.

Prey

Mikhaila Ilyushin

  • This whole game is very much my jam, from the vibe to the characters.
  • Prompts:
  • Getting into TranStar and onto Talos I in the first place! Did she not initially know she'd need to go into space or was she aware all along of where her dad was?
  • How did she end up getting so close to Morgan? Did she even want to initially?
  • Day to day work and friendships with other people on the station.
  • Dealing with her disease (and hiding it).
  • Her POV when the outbreak started to happen.
  • Her POV of the creation of Typhon Morgan and especially once they're up and interacting like a normal person.
  • If you go in a shippy direction I ship F!Morgan/Mikhaila, either Typhon or Original, and am fine with poly between them as long as it isn't v type. I ship Mikhaila/Sarah Elazar as well.

Shining Nikki

Aeon

  • I just love Aeon's whole deal, especially at the start where he's trapped away from everything wishing he could be involved more directly or even just leave the Ark at all. He just wants to be part of the world so much and that's sort of baked into his interactions with it even after he finally get access.
  • Prompts:
  • Day to day things on the ark with Marina.
  • How they adjusted shortly after they came to be, especially with not knowing how exactly that happened.
  • Learning to be the Ark Administrator. Did he start out already knowing the technicals of some things but not why he needed to do them? Did he already know a ton of stuff and just need to unlock that info? Or did he have to learn it all from scratch?
  • Interactions with Leonid.
  • Adjusting to having Nikki on board, and friendship stuff with Nikki.
  • Music! How he got into it and how his style developed and how different some of his resources on the Ark might be compared to Miraland (in both positive and negative ways).
  • After getting to Miraland, navigating relationships and alliances with people that he knows a lot about who don't know him at all.
  • Other Notes:
  • I'm playing on Global so please don't include really big story twists/spoilers from CN/TW/JP that haven't made it to us by reveals!
  • I am fully spoiled for the previous games so if you need to reference anything from those feel free to go wild!
  • If you need the text of story that you can't access please ask via the mods and I may be able to provide that! I also have all of the reflections for Aeon, and most of the others.
  • Shipping:
  • Now that Aeon can leave the ark this is way more easy to figure out, but something taking place before that was possible with someone from Miraland getting onto the ark, and Aeon having to navigate that, would still be neat.
  • Other characters who know Nikki having to deal with this guy who is just suddenly and clearly a major part of her support structure without explanation, especially ones who may have had an idea of his existence before and are trying to match actions to the name.
  • Aeon navigating or avoiding explaining why/how he knows so much more about people in Miraland than he should.
  • Characters I ship Aeon with: Loen, Caprico, Modric, Qin Yi, Leonid

Blood-Smoke Series

Tony, Lee

  • While this is the endgame pairing in canon and a lot of my prompts are shippy, I'm fine with it being set before they were in a relationship as long as it doesn't preclude that relationship. I'm fine with them being in other relationships in a canon-typical way as long as there are no breakups* within the fic.
  • The whole slow burn of this, especially at the point in the third book where Lee had kind of figured out his emotions, was just super great. And it was buried in the sort of tropey fun plots that are just very my jam. I'd love anything either focused on their relationship *or* on the more gen/plotty parts of the books. Or both!
  • Prompts:
  • Tony and Lee getting together earlier than they did in the books, and how that would change their interactions during canon events.
  • New threats post-canon.
  • Lee or Tony getting kidnapped or otherwise menaced as part of some new threat and needing rescued by the other.
  • More details about events in canon or missing scenes/alt POV scenes!
  • Tony continuing to work through his issues with Henry.
  • Canon-typical supernatural events.
  • Canon-typical non-supernatural events.
  • Double (or attempts at it).
  • Normal day to day and slice of life stuff, especially post book two (and especially especially post book three, since we didn't get to see that!). I really loved the bits we saw of how quickly everyone adjusted to magic just being another tool they had at hand.
  • Interactions while Tony is busy being unconscious and everyone is having to get things done, especially if Lee is also being hurt/comforty at him (That scene where Tony was waking up while Lee was rubbing his arm was really iddy okay)
  • Just in general hurt/comfort scenes either direction.
  • Tony figuring out new cool or silly (or things that look silly while he's figuring them out but end up cool!) magic things to do.
  • Other Notes:
  • I haven't read the Blood series, but am at least aware of the basics of Tony's parts so you don't need to worry about spoilers/references.
  • *DNW Exception:
  • You can ignore my breakups-within-the-fic DNW for Lee as long as whoever he's breaking up with is just a name/basic description at most and not a character with a personality within the fic, and can assume that DNW doesn't apply to stuff like one night stands. Referencing past breakups and going into past relationships for both/either of them is fine.

DNWs

  • Humiliation.
  • Severe social ineptness.
  • Planned public declarations of love that only one half of the pairing knows about ahead of time. (see clarification below)
  • Cheating or suspicion of cheating. (see clarification below)
  • V type poly. (see clarification below)
  • Open relationships.
  • Breakups involving tagged characters within the fic. (see clarification below)
  • Unrequited between tagged characters.
  • Unrequested gender/sexuality headcanons.
  • Non-canon slavery.
  • Non-canon permanent maiming/incapacitation.
  • Graphic description of wounds
  • Graphic torture
  • Non-canon permanent major character death. (Exception: If they die and come back in a way that they usually have a form indistinguishable from a normal alive person, such as vampires or TGCF style ghosts. Please see the bottom of this letter for a huge list of edge cases that are also okay!)
  • Permanent requested character death in a fic tagged for them even if canon.
  • Noncon, fear of Noncon, or focus on past Noncon.
  • Dubcon.
  • Underaged (Any romantic or sexual content involving someone physically or mentally under 18.)
  • Incest.
  • A/B/O.
  • Extremely painful sex or anal bleeding.
  • Kissing after throwing up.
  • Blowjobs after anal.
  • Rimming.
  • Fisting.
  • Sounding.
  • Intercision in Daemon AUs.
  • Comas, covid, and unrequested real life serious illness.

Clarifications

  • "Requested character" in all cases refers to the character/pairing from my requests that you choose to focus on in the fic. I'm not expecting those DNWs to apply to every character I requested, just the one you're writing and tagging the fic for.
  • Planned public declarations of love that only one half of the pairing knows about ahead of time: I mean things like public marriage proposals/announcements, public confession speeches, announcing the relationship, ect. If the characters have already talked about that sort of thing and the in-the-dark-character is going to react like "Oh hey that thing we talked about is happening now, with no unpleasant surprises that will make me uncomfortable", then don't worry about it! I just don't want them caught off guard or embarrassed by something they had no idea was coming. (It's a big second-hand embarrassment thing for me.)
  • Suspicion of Cheating: I mean things like "Are they dating someone else/want to date someone else/slept with someone else/am I a side piece" ect, but not things like "Are they flirting with that waitress". Momentary "Wait wait--oh no that's not it at all" type suspicions are also fine in general, as long as there is no stretch of time where cheating is suspected (for either the reader or the characters)
  • V-type poly: What I mean by this is poly where two of the characters are into a third but not each other. I need some sort of romantic relationship for all three legs of a poly relationship, even if it's antagonistic or low key.
  • Breakups involving characters in the pairing within the fic: I basically don't want breakup fic, whether that's between both of the characters in the pairing or if it's one character in the pairing breaking up with a prior relationship. It's fine if a canon relationship breaks up *before* the fic and that's mentioned, but I don't want a gift that involves that arc.
  • Non-canon permanent major character death: Assume permanent means that the character can't interact normally with the rest of the cast, so vampires and TGCF style powerful ghosts are totally fine! What I don't want is something where someone who didn't permanently die in canon does so. I'm fine with unrequested characters dying in different ways than how they died in canon as long as the fic is clearly tagged so that I know what I'm getting into. (I care a lot less about this for antagonist characters. Kill the main villain however you want and I won't blink, but please give me clear warning for an alternate allied character death. There's also probably antagonists who didn't die in canon that I'm fine dying in a fic, but defining exactly where the antagonist line lies is hard so probably double check on those.)
  • Permanent requested character death (even if canon): I don't want any of the requested characters to be dead at the end of the fic. I don't want a pre-death fic that very blatantly references or leads into the start of the plotline of the eventual canon character death. (Assume permanent means that the character can't interact normally with the rest of the cast, so vampires and TGCF style powerful ghosts are totally fine!)
  • Related things to the character death DNWs that are totally okay!: Temporary death. Character mistakenly thinking someone is dead or grieving for a temporarily dead character. Fic where the canonically dead character is dead for most of the fic as long as they're alive by the end of the fic. Vampires. Dead character comes back as a corporeal ghost ala TGCF or a similar "Basically alive with fancy powers" sort of undead. Pre-death fic that doesn't very blatantly reference or lead into the canonical character death plotline. Pre-death fic that leads into/directly references canonical death plot but clearly sets up a divergence even if the characters don't realize the significance at the time. Time Travel/Time Loop/Peggy Sue fixit where the canonically dead character definitely died in the last timeline but they're averting it this time. Canon divergence dealing directly with the canon death plotline. Not mentioning the temporarily dead character during a canon divergence, as long as it isn't implied the divergence will keep them dead. Character attempting to permanently self sacrifice and being stopped. Character successfully self sacrificing thinking it will be permanent and it's temporary. Character self sacrificing with the intention of it being temporary while knowing it could be permanent (but it's temporary).
